When is the best time to schedule a newborn photoshoot session?
The best time to schedule in your newborn photography session is within the first two weeks of your baby's life. During this time newborns are still very sleepy, small and curled up.
How much does it cost?
Pricing starts from $850 includes 2 hour newborn photoshoot, access to collection of newborn and ladies wardrobe, held in the comfort of your home & editing and curation of your online galleries.

How do I keep my newborn calm during a photoshoot?
As an experienced newborn photographer who has captured hundreds of babies, I will help you to settle your baby throughout the photoshoot. I use many settling techniques from swaddling, keeping bub warm and cosy and of course making sure they are fed and comfortable.
What should I dress my newborn in for a photoshoot?
Beautiful styling during newborn photoshoots makes such a huge difference to the end results. I have collected a huge range of newborn outfits for your baby to borrow during their photoshoot. Many of these are hand made! I bring a huge range of newborn clothes with to every photoshoot and you can select what you would like your baby to wear from the collections.
Is 3 weeks too late for newborn photos?
It is never too late to capture your newborn photography Sydney. I have photographed many babies as old as 3 months in the typical newborn style before. My style is relaxed and natural which allows for a wider window of time to capture your baby.
Should parents be in newborn photos?
Yes! Parents, siblings and pets should be included in your newborn photography Sydney. I highly encourage everyone to be present during the photoshoot and capture these memories together.
How long is a newborn photoshoot?
A newborn photoshoot with Daniella Photography is around 2 hours long, depending on the needs of your baby. Some babies require feeds, nappy changes and extra settling during their photoshoot. I allow plenty of time for all of that so that the photoshoot is not rushed.
How do I prepare my newborn for a photoshoot?
To prepare for your in home newborn photoshoot, you will need to tidy up and declutter around your house. I recomend starting to feed your baby 30 minutes before I arrive so that they are nice and sleepy for the photoshoot. You will also need to plan what to wear for the family (minus the newborn) ahead of time. Once you book your newborn photoshoot Sydney in - I will send a detailed what to wear guide out and help with the styling.
What should I bring to my newborn photoshoot?
I will provide newborn clothes, blankets and wraps. All you need to have ready is a dummy, bottle (if using) and nappies. If you have any special items you would like to include like heirloom blankets or toys, please let me know.
How many photos will I receive from the newborn photography session?
You will receive 70-80 photos to choose from in your gallery. You will then get to decide how many you want to keep and which package you want.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
The turn around time is 1-2 weeks.

I have been a newborn photographer for over 10 years. I decided to specialise in maternity & pregnancy, newborn , baby and family photography because my passion is working with children.
As a mum of 3, the way I look at it is that we only have 18 summers with our children. They grow & change so quickly and are only little for so short. I pinch myself everyday as I know the gift of photography I am giving to my clients is forever. True authentic photographs capture the soul and personality of your family. I know that the memories I capture will be treasured forever and that you will always hold a special place in your heart for them.
